I hear Google does this thing where employees get a day during the week to work on side projects. I need to implement this in my life. I really want to make more progress on my adventure game, but other stuff keeps getting in the way!
I had a hard time getting the sizing of the figure right in relation to the rest of the screen. I still think she's a bit tall for my purposes, but if I make her any smaller she kind of dissolves into a blocky blur.

I'm no artist, but shouldn't this be called "Walking thirteen ways"?
Heh. I guess what I meant was I grabbed some of the frames from the eight-way walk cycles for my sprite's animation -- Move up, move down, move left, move right, move up+right, move up+left, move down+right and move down+left. Also, the frames of animation when the character isn't moving and is just standing on the screen awaiting input.
Thirteen frames, I suppose! In reality there are way more frames that what I've shown here, this was a sample to show how the sprite looks facing different directions :P
P.S.: Happy Birthday to Logan!
